Hard Rock International has joined forces with Rideau Carleton Raceway Holdings Limited (RCR) in a multi-million dollar venture selected by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to redevelop gaming operations in the National Capital Region.
A World-Renowned Entertainment Icon in Canada's Capital
The comprehensive multi-phase project envisions transforming the longstanding Rideau Carleton Raceway into the flagship Hard Rock Casino Ottawa. The proposed master plan features:
- An expanded gaming floor with up to 2,000 state-of-the-art slot machines and 84 table games.
- A multi-story contemporary hotel tower catering to business and leisure travelers.
- A 2,500-seat live entertainment theater capable of hosting international touring concerts, comedians, and corporate conventions.
- The legendary Hard Rock Cafe, fine dining steakhouse, and authentic sports bar.
- Careful preservation and continued operation of the historic harness horse racing track.
